Inherent in any wellness practice is the connection from ourselves to the earth and the environment in which we live. One of Jen's favorite activities to stay fit and connect with her surroundings is to get on the trail and discover something new each time. An avid hiker and native to the central coast, Jen can lead guided hikes and mindful practices from Cambria to Monterey. She has many familiar trails she likes to guide on with spectacular views of our beautiful coastline and mindful practices integrated into the walk. Hiking is great exercise and a special way to tune the senses and nourish on multiple levels. Check out the gallery of some incredible local spots here.
Practicing Yoga outside allows for direct stimulation of the senses and connection to the elements. It can be both challenging and nourishing and the Monterey Peninsula offers a beautiful variety of venues in our many parks and open spaces. In this still evolving pandemic, outdoor classes offer a safe and accessible platform for all to enjoy the benefits of practicing together. See our calendar for weekly classes. Private group classes or special events can also be arranged. Jennifer often incorporates outdoor yoga sessions in her retreats as well.
Our signature retreat can be booked as a private trip for groups of 6 or more, and tailored to your interests.
Join Jennifer, your local guide and host for an excursion into some of the most beautiful and sacred spots on the central coast. Our venture will include 2 nights and three days of hiking, yoga, meditation, music, delicious food and friendship. Our yoga practices will be both indoors and out depending on weather. Pleas bring mat, backpack, instruments, poems, snacks and any other magic for the mix.
Optional additions: Kayaking or paddle boarding in San Simeon cove, tour of Hearst Castle, Thai massage sessions & group dinners.
Transportation is caravan style, driving your own car or carpooling.
